Again and again.
And now its spring again. I wish I could host a garden party, with lots of lilacs in vases and cream cakes.
I'd wear that dress, from Modlcloth, of course.

Thrift.
So my current job is not a perminant position. This is fine, I woudldent want to work there forever anyway.
My current living situation makes it possible for me to save a lot of the money I earn, building up a nest egg for the next phase of my life.
Nest eggs are good, important things. However this means that I have to control my spending.
Its not like I'm a shopaholic, but I certainly do love shoping. Stuff and aquiring stuff is good fun for me.
With that in mind I have set myself a budget.
I have $20 of pleasure money a month, plus $10 for a reward. (I get this reward at the begining of the month if I've been working out routinely and have been watching my eating.)
I can spend it on anything I'd like, but I need to include things like sales tax and shipping in the reward money. It cant, for example, be a $20 something with $5 shipping, unless I cut into the reward money.
April is a little diffrent, because my mom gave me $20 for Easter money, so that goes into my fun money, but the same rules about shipping and tax apply.
This ban will not cross over into essentials, though those perchases will be thoroughly documented.
For example, if I need to buy chapstick, then I may buy chapstick. It will not come out of my fun money. Also gas doesnt count as fun money, even if I'm going somewhere fun.
This is gonna be tricky, but I intend to keep it up until the end of this job, so that the majority of my eggs go into my nest.
So I'll probably be documenting my fun things here, to keep me extra accountable.

Button, button
So, anyone have interesting plans for Easter? I plan on sitting around and reading my book, and wishing the spring weather would come back. It feels like November out there, and all the flowering trees look perplexed.
In a perfect world I would pass Easter in this sweater. Look at its little buttons! So sweet with jeans or a pink or china blue skirt, and my signature flats.
Later lets talk about my spending hiatus, but for now lets admire the pretty.

P.S. That resolution about fixing my camera? hasnt happened yet, now has it. Hmm.
